GTI Island Set is part of Grand Halls new integrill system designed to use less gas ,saving a minimum 15% gas/Co2 compared to a traditional model of similar size and improving performance to enhance the flavour. The new cooking grid system prevents fat from dripping directly onto the burner achieving no heat loss, no "Flare ups" and far more efficient & effective cooking. A traditional system allows the fat to fall onto the flames creating "flare up" and lots of smoke.

GTI Island is more of permanent fixture barbecue than the GTI4 but with added performance from an infrared backburner.

The infrared burner works by focusing the flame of a standard gas burner onto a ceramic tile that has thousands of microscopic holes in it. This converts the heat of the flame into infrared energy, the same energy you feel from the sun on a cold day. This heat is much higher and more persistent than a standard grill can produce. This means you can cook food in half the time and char a steak on the outside and leave rare in the middle.

Also as standard is the 'Chef's plancha ' - it is a cast iron hotplate with raised edges so a spatula can be sued without losing food over the side. Chef's love it and they are usually a cost option with all other bbq companies.
